Every batch of my Nutty Breakfast Topping that I make is different..... and I love it all :).

Bananas have to be my least favourite food & I delayed making a gluten free banana cake for a long time. I really loathe bananas, really, really. Having said that making a cake containing banana like this Hummingbird Cake means that I'll get the rest of the members of the family to taste it & I won't have to taste it (& after the Easter I've just had that is a very good thing).

Recently my son bought some wheat based Apple & Cinnamon Hot Cross Buns from a bakery chain. His verdict was that I needed to try them. Well he didn't really say that - he actually said "Can you get me another packet please". I bought 2 packets, one for Mr Hollow Legs to have & the other for the rest of the family. They were delicious & definitely needed to be made gluten free. Here is the recipe for my version of gluten free Apple & Cinnamon Hot Cross Buns.

I'll admit it - I love Danish pastries.

Do I need to have a reason for posting another way of making these gorgeous goodies ;).

I hope you'll love this Danish Pastry Too

In my baking classes I usually have on hand some of my home made jam, Zesty Pom Pom (strawberry) & Zesty Wild BB (blackberry) to put on some of the freshly baked gluten free bread I've made. Jam is normally gluten free but I'm putting my recipes on the website as someone in my last class asked whether they could have the recipe.

I love munching on Bread Sticks with a little bit of dip. These are easy to make, taste great & are wonderful to have on hand for when friends drop in.

This Peanut Butter & Choc Chip Cookies recipe was developed because, quite simply, I needed a bit of comfort food (as did the rest of the family) - well that's my excuse & I'm sticking with it. It was one of those weeks when unexpected things happen and I was a little emotionally spent (death of an Uncle, online store mysteriously disappearing, a bushfire on the scenic reserve 2 houses up from us). When I saw my husband eating some peanut butter off a spoon (& knowing that there were no bikkies in the house) I casually asked whether he would like some peanut butter & choc chip cookies - a chorus of YES! was the answer :).

Currently we are experiencing problems with our on-line shop - if fact I woke up this morning and it had disappeared. I'm not sure when it will be back as such if you need some flour send me an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Thanks for your patience.
